Part of the application and licensing process with the Department of Agriculture’s Pesticide Management Division for pest control businesses includes providing a $2,500 surety bond. Any of the following license categories can be applied for:
- Household, institutional & industrial Pest Control (HPC)
- Fumigation Pest Control (FC)
- Control and/or Eradication of Wood Destroying Organisms (WDS)
This surety bond provides protection to any person who has suffered damages from the actions of the pest control company and guarantees the operator will comply with rules and regulations outlined in Chapter 27 Title 2 of Code of Alabama.
