Alaska Contractor License Surety Bonds are required by the Alaska Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development’s Division of Corporations and Business and Professional Licensing. These surety bonds are issued to guarantee that a contractor will comply with the regulations detailed in their license, including those noted in AS 08.18.
The issued amount of these surety bonds is dependent on the type of work being performed by the contractor.

These surety bonds are continuous unless cancelled or revoked by the Alaska Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development.
